
When you interview a client or subject matter expert (SME), you need to use active listening skills.
As an Instructional Designer it is crucial to establish your philosophy of the importance of active listening as a communication strategy.
These are my steps based on my experience interviewing clients and SME’s for how to have a successful interview and walk away understanding both needs and wants.
